Welcome to our very neutral, almost pumpkin-less fall home tour! Today we’ll be taking you inside Bridget’s suburban ranch.
Like I mentioned earlier in the week, I wanted my home to feel more “fall” but didn’t want to purchase a ton of items that can only be used one season of the year. Instead of buying the stereotypical fall items, I traded my typical color palette of blues and cool tones (& even ditched last year’s fall look) for a more neutral, more natural looking palette. Creams, grays, wood tones and even a few hints of GOLD helped me establish (what feels like to me) a whole new look… all without breaking the bank!

I did sneak one little white pumpkin into the mix because let’s be honest here, what’s fall without one? But other than that mini craft pumpkin, there’s not that many “obvious” fall items. No leaves, no plaid, not even a holiday wreath!! (GASP!). <– Busy Bad blogger
Quite possibly my favorite part (and the whole inspiration behind the more neutral fall look) is the framed pics above the couch. Long story short, Matt & I went to the grounds of our wedding venue and took a ton of pictures of this gorgeous property. We then used SnapBox to get these prints blown up and framed! I feel like these two simple prints changed the whole look of the room (for under $100 TOTAL!). Plus, the whole day was so much fun together, which makes us love the journey of these prints even more.

And last but very not least, a few tweaks in the entryway helped transition this tiny drop zone without having to buy a lot of new items. High-fives all around. <– see what I did there? #Icrackmyselfup

Now that the house is “fall-ified”, I’m officially ready for brisk temperatures, falling leaves, more coffee, & everything else that comes with my favorite season of the year. Anyone else ready to start wearing their cute boots & oversized wool sweaters?!
And there you have it, my neutral and almost pumpkin-less fall home tour. Before you head out, I can’t help but give you a glimpse into what our home really looks like on an everyday basis this fall.
